“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair” Khalil Gibran
Nature was conjuring all kinds of magical invisible paintings with her windy paintbrush on this divine beach day. Whether it’s stormy, sunny, hot, cold or windy, I love and treasure the beach. I love to feel my bare feet hit the sand, and though I’d prefer it to be warm and calm, I’ll take any moment I can to have that connection with nature.
I’m seriously dying over all the coachella pics and amazingness that I’m seeing on social media atm. It’s sooooo good! And sooooo inspiring! I keep telling myself next year! Here’s hoping next year I make it a reality and stop talking about it haha! I can only imagine how incredible it would be wandering the desert, dancing up a storm to my favourite tunes, and styling up a bunch of inspirational outfits! Right up my alley. So next year, who’s in!?!?
Here’s a little festival outfit inspo featuring some turquoise amazingness from one of my favourites At Thursday, a bunch of labels I love from my divine sistar Turquoise Lane, the most perfect bag ever from gorgeous soul Diamond Moss + some festival must haves from my online jewellery store.

It’s with such pleasure that I introduce you all to this amazing label, Midsummer Star. I’m so obsessed with all of their jewellery! So much amazing silver, turquoise and intricate details. A perfect combination of clean, simple styles with some seriously awesome statement pieces for those who want a little more.
I hope you enjoy this summery post. This set of photos were taken a couple of weeks ago, one beautiful, calm afternoon full of summertime warmth and energy. Now that autumn has really hit Perth, I find myself missing these perfect sunshine filled moments, and so grateful for the reminder.
It’s been forever since I’ve dreamt of having my own jewellery shop. A place to collect all my favourites and share them with the world. I’ve finally carved out time in my crazy life to make it my reality and I’m so excited to share it with you all. I hope you love the selection of jewels I’ve picked. I’ve carefully curated a collection based on many important aspects. It was vital to me that I only sell jewellery that is ethically made, and to work with companies with a positive ethos. I also love discovering all those amazing artisans across the globe who are just so skilled at what they do. The Goldbarr are simply exquisite at designing the most incredible jaw dropping tribal statement necklaces. Grace Bijoux seriously knows how to string anklets together like no other. And Poatri Accoutrements are above and beyond in the world of quartz crystal jewellery. The vibrational energy of these crystals is on a whole other level…just wait to you wear them and feel it! And there are many more amazing designers who all bring something beautiful and unique to my shop.
For now the collection is somewhat small, though I’m sure it will grow with time as I continue to get a feel for those pieces that I know truly belong to my little shop family. I’m so grateful and honoured to bring these magical talismans to you all and I hope you love them as much as I do :)
Feeling oh so summery and festival ready in all this inspiring flash….loving the new blue tones added to the already amazing metallics from the original creators of the metallic tattoos :) Paired with some divine James Michelle gold jewels and beautifully handcrafted bikini all the way from sunny California! I’m super excited to announce my family will be trekking back to Cali this summer. We can’t wait to see our families and even more of this beautiful place we call our second home. Thanks to all who suggested some amazing places to visit on instagram recently. Please feel free to leave comments here on my blog if you have some must see sights and adventures, and any must stay accommodations you’d like to recommend.
We’ve been so blessed this summer to have had so many beautiful mornings at the beach with our kids to simply be and mermaid around in the waters. The horizon set with endless turquoise, and the sand so white and fluffy like snow. As our kids spend time frolicking in the small waves and search for wildlife, we get time to follow our creative passion. It’s become one of our family rituals. Beach photos, play and swim. I’ve never felt so free as I do when we are at the beach. Like a mermaid with an entire ocean to call home. On this amazing day I felt so very blessed to be almost head to toe in the divine Shayote designs, especially wearing their amazing kimono with a hand drawn eagle print on the back. The symbolism speaks to my soul and reflects my inner feelings of freedom. I hope you enjoy this post and are having a wonderful day wherever you are on this magical earth.
With festival season heating up I’ve been tuning into the vibe and so has my wardrobe. Here are a few of my favourite festival inspired looks. Hope this post gives you guys some inspiration and gets those creative juices flowing!
“Happiness requires little else than breaking from reaction and turning our attention toward the glory of life, finding a simple moment to reflect on how lucky we are to have this breath, this moment, this very capability to choose” Brendon Burchard
I read this beautiful quote the other day on The Joy Sanctuary, a beautiful space created by a dear kindred sistar of mine. It was just so perfectly timed for me to read it and resonated deeply within me. I hope it finds you all well today and sends loving vibrations to you the way it has for me.
I’m so pleased to share with you all my feature on Happiness + Well Being magazine. A digital magazine dedicated to bringing holistic wisdom, nourishment and love to their readers. The magazine is filled with priceless and practical tools to remind you each and every day of just how amazing and beautiful you are. It has 100 pages filled with loving intentions, devoted to inspiring you to cultivate a life of love.
Here’s a little snipper from my interview with H + W.
H+W: What advice would you have for anyone struggling to love and accept themselves?
Helen: Be easy on yourself. We are all perfectly imperfect and our unique qualities are what make us all so beautiful. Embrace the beauty that you are. Please know you are enough just as you are. You have always been enough. You are more than enough. You can let go, trust and enjoy who you are and your life.
I am beyond honoured and grateful to the lovely Happiness + Well Being mag for taking the time to interview me. It’s been an absolute pleasure from beginning to end, and the process of answering their heart provoking questions has been an opportunity for me to reflect on my life, and how grateful I am for all that I’ve experienced.

My family and I spent a playful afternoon recently exploring a new little beach along the WA coastline. It was so lovely and quiet, the breeze ever so gentle, waves repeatedly kissing the shoreline with such grace. I watched my kids playing in the waves, I felt their joy, and all my daily stress melted into oblivion. We snapped some photos as I walked along the long stretch of beach, dressed head to toe in my favourite Hendrix + Harlow. I was filled to the brim, overflowing with joy, radiating from my being. Caught in a bubble, time escaped me, there was just my beloved family and I and the ocean. Of all our beach encounters, this one was like a dream I didn’t want to wake up from.
